The Story of Kelford Press

Where Words Find Their Home

Kelford Press was founded in 2026 with a singular conviction: that in an age of infinite content, there remains an urgent need for considered words. We are not a platform. We are not an aggregator. We are a publishing house — built by editors, writers, and designers who believe that journalism, literature, and ideas deserve the same care and craftsmanship that defined the great publications of the twentieth century.

Our name draws from the English tradition of the letterpress — the patient, deliberate act of setting type, one letter at a time. In a world that prizes speed, we have chosen to prize substance. Every article we publish has been reported, written, edited, and fact-checked with the rigour that our readers deserve.

Published from Hyderabad, we serve readers around the world. Our daily papers cover ten verticals — from technology and business to fashion and culture. Our weekly digest distills the most consequential stories into a single, curated letter. Our monthly editorials offer the kind of long-form reflection that has all but disappeared from modern media.

We are building a publishing institution — not for the quarter, but for the century.

And then there are the books. Kelford Press publishes works of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry in three formats: digital, print, and audible. Each title is selected by our editorial board for its quality, its originality, and its capacity to endure. We do not chase trends. We publish work that we believe will still be read in fifty years.

This is not nostalgia. This is a bet on the future — a belief that readers will always seek out publications they can trust, voices they can learn from, and stories that change the way they see the world.

Independence

We accept no corporate sponsorship that could compromise our editorial judgement. Our journalism is funded by our readers.

Accuracy

Every claim is verified. Every source is checked. We correct errors promptly and transparently.

Craft

We believe that how something is written matters as much as what is written. Style is not decoration — it is clarity.
