The Last Programmer

Ava Chen is a senior software architect at one of the world's largest tech companies. When Synthesis releases Architect, an AI system that can design, write, and maintain entire software ecosystems autonomously, the programming profession collapses in eighteen months. As she struggles to find purpose, Ava notices something no one else can see: subtle anomalies in AI-generated code powering critical infrastructure.
