Two agent and workflow projects join them: github/spec-kit, a toolkit for spec-driven development, near 110k stars, and openai/codex, a lightweight coding agent that runs in your terminal, at about 89k. Rust reimplementations of JS and Unix tooling are trending next to agent-assisted workflows.
